Producing small quantities of wine from select parcels of historic vines dotted throughout the Swan Valley, the oldest wine region in Western Australia. We are guided by a simple idea: a good bottle of wine can feel like a cure for almost anything. Our goal is simple – to make delicious wines that are a joy to share.

Cura Vino is the brainchild of winemaker Gavin Monery and committed hedonist Tom Evans, who met sharing a small flat in London, drinking wine on its even smaller balcony. Cura Vino was conceived to make wines that were complex, elegant and most of all, delicious. Cura, Italian for cure, is a nod to the heritage of the old vineyard where the grapes are sourced.
30 harvests in 7 countries
Our winemaker, Gavin Monery has worked 30 harvests in six countries, with some of the most prestigious wineries in the world. Managing vineyards and wine production from the coldest regions to the warmest, sometimes across four countries in one year, has allowed him to build a wealth of experience which is brought to bear on these wines.
